Kalios Kalamata & Chalkidiki Olives in Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 290g
Kalios Kalamata and Chalkidiki olives are the perfect pre-dinner nibble. Grown in the Greek sunshine, they’re bursting with Mediterranean flavour.
The olives are marinated for eight weeks until they are almost candied. The deep purple Kalamata olives have a robust, smoky taste. Chalkidiki olives are milder, with firm flesh and fruity, buttery notes.
Pair these Greek olives with hummus, pita and cubes of feta. They’re a great addition to grazing boards and antipasti platters. Serve them in small bowls at parties and watch how quickly they disappear.
You can also add the olives to salads and Mediterranean tray bakes. They’re delicious on pizza or stirred through pasta sauce. The olive oil included is also the same olive oil available in Kalios’ beautiful bottles, avoiding waste and providing a delicious sample.
Kalios grows their olives in the Kalamata region of southern Greece. Eight generations of the Chantzios family have tended to the centuries-old groves.
