Opinel uses Sandvik steel to create strong, rust resistant blades. The steel’s high carbon content means the blade stays sharp for longer. The handles are made from polyoxymethylene, a type of plastic reinforced with glass fibres. They are shock and heat resistant.
The beech wood knife block has a modern, natural look. It looks at home on any countertop, keeping your knives within easy reach. The slots pierce right through for easy cleaning. There are silicone pads on the bottom of the block to keep it stable.
